about

A true story...

lyrics

There's a folksong in my ear
There's a wild one gone from here
There's a race horse on the track
There's a monkey on my back
We belong to no one
We are strong as they come

There's a scarecrow in the breeze
There's an old man beggin’ please
There's a newborn at your feet
There's a riot on the street

We belong to no one
We are strong as they come
Like a bird that has flown
We’re a long way from home

There's a jet trail in the sky
There's a young boy asking why
There's a suitcase on the floor
There's a taxi at the door

We belong to no one
We are strong as they come
Like a bird that has flown
We’re a long way from home

We’re the Black Irish Dogs (they don’t want, they don’t want)
We’re the Black Irish Dogs (they don’t want, they don’t want, they don’t want)
